Guide to choosing funeral flowers

Deciding on a funeral tribute can become overwhelming at a time when you may feel disorientated.

If you want to talk, then we are happy to offer advice and guidance in a gentle calm manner.
Fill out the form on the contact page, and we’ll arrange to call you at a suitable time and discuss your options without distractions.

We can talk through your relationship and find a way to reflect a personality, remember a favourite flower or think about a colour that comes to mind and represents their life.

You may prefer not to talk, or already know what you would like; in which case you can look through the guide to funeral flowers below, and let us know the details you’d like here.

All of our designs have a natural, textured, wild look,
and are as unique as the person whose life you are celebrating.

Once you have decided on the flowers you’d like, we will contact the funeral director to arrange delivery of your flowers.

How to choose funeral flowers

Coffin or casket sprays

These are usually chosen by the family and placed on top of the coffin. They are big arrangements full of flowers and foliage. We don’t use floral foam, and instead opt for a more natural approach by using wood, branches and moss. Chicken wire and a compostable base may be used if necessary.

Wreaths

Made on a willow base, these are completely compostable and can be made as approx 12” or 16”. They can be made larger, but please contact me to discuss. Wreaths are suitable for burials and cremations, where they can lay as a floral tribute from friends and family.

Sheafs

An alternative to a casket spray. Sheafs don’t stand as high as a casket spray, and are tied at one end as a very pretty alternative. They can be tied with just string as requested which will compost down.

All designs can be made suitable for natural burials, green burials, woodland burials and cremation funerals.
